BeyondPress Eval is provided freely so that you can evaluate the features of the software and decide if you wish to purchase a full working version. It is not intended for production use. The evaluation version contains brief documentation and tutorial in PostScript format, and a sample QuarkXPress document for use in the tutorial.
Limitations of BeyondPress Eval
• BeyondPress Eval will operate on any machine for 30 days.
• When exporting images, BeyondPress Eval will add the word “Demo” to the images.
• BeyondPress Eval will replace random words in the text with “[DEMO]”.
The Files in this Evaluation Package
Your BeyondPress Evaluation Package contains the following files:
• ReadMe BeyondPress Eval - the file you are reading now.
• BeyondPress™ 2.0.4 Eval - the BeyondPress QuarkXTension.
• Eval Documentation - a folder containing online documentation and a sample document:
• BeyondPress Eval Docs.ps - a PostScript document for you to print which contains brief documentation and a tutorial.
• Drop•PS - a PostScript print utility. Drop BeyondPress Eval Docs.ps onto Drop•PS to print it.
• Sample Document - a QuarkXPress document to use with the tutorial in BPEvalDocs.html.
BeyondPress System Requirements
• Macintosh 68020 or better.
• MacOS 7.0 or greater.
• QuarkXPress 3.3 for Macintosh or QuarkXPress 3.3 for Power Macintosh
(Accelerated for Power Macintosh).
Installing BeyondPress Eval
Drag the "BeyondPress™ 2.0.4 Eval" file into your QuarkXPress XTension folder and launch QuarkXPress. Refer to the BeyondPress Eval Documentaion for additional information on using BeyondPress Eval. Drop the "BeyondPress Eval Docs.ps" file onto "Drop•PS" to print the BeyondPress Eval Documentaion.
Help With the Web and HTML
To use BeyondPress effectively, you will need to understand at least the basics of HTML. For more information about creating HTML documents and publishing on the World Wide Web, visit the "HTML Resources" page on the Astrobyte Web Site (http://www.astrobyte.com).
To view or publish documents on the World Wide Web, you need a connection to the Internet. If you need a connection to the Internet, contact a local Internet Service Provider (ISP). Your service provider can help you get the required software for your Macintosh, including a browser.

YOU MAY: Use the software on any item of compatible hardware you own or use, and you may make backup copies of the software. You may distribute the SOFTWARE, provided you distribute it in exactly the form distributed by Astrobyte. If you're in doubt as to the origin of the copy of SOFTWARE you are using, you should obtain a reference release from our Internet server at http://www.astrobyte.com/.
